At the Law Offices of Linda M. Scaparotti, our clients love us because we doggedly pursue their cause, listen to their input, and keep them informed about their cases. Defense attorneys fear us because we use all our resources to go to bat for our clients and we are not intimidated or fooled by the opposing side’s myriad tactics. We are not a “P.I. Mill;” we choose our cases selectively so that we can spend the kind of time on each which we believe it takes to obtain not only the best possible monetary result for our clients, but the best emotional result as well.

Personal injury cases which we handle in particular include:

“Personal Injury” is the common term for “tort law.” This is a body of law which allows an injured party to sue the party or parties who caused his or her injury for civil damages (usually money). The principle behind tort law is that if you are injured because another person or entity failed to use reasonable care under the circumstances, or intentionally acted in one of many ways prohibited by law, then that person or entity, rather than you, should bear the cost of the damages you incur as a result. The idea behind the law is to return you, to the extent possible, to the condition you were in prior to the accident/injury.
